“In years of high upwellings, when the ocean is just bountiful, it probably wouldn’t do anything,” said Zeke Grader, the executive director of the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen’s Associations. “But in bad years it could be a problem to have a new predator competing at the top of the food chain.”
In the meantime, they are just hanging out by the snack tables.

July 11th, 2007Since I have up to three blags on the intertubes now I decided I should specialize. I will henceforth use this one to document the latest giant squid / exotic squid sightings. Thus, when I read a story or get a link from someone about the latest one, I can put it here, and people will know when I have already been informed! It will be awesome!
